We're thrilled to launch Unstoppable Messaging, a new way to build connections and community in Web3. Powered by the Web3 messaging network XMTP, Unstoppable Messaging is a Web3-native way to connect with friends, stay updated on your favorite projects, and foster vibrant communities with decentralized, end-to-end encrypted messaging – all through your Web3 domain. And soon, we’ll introduce the ability for dApps and businesses to use Unstoppable Messaging to send messages with their communities and foster stronger relationships, powered by Push Protocol. 

Web3 is about interoperability, which is why we built Unstoppable Messaging to be fully interoperable with any messaging platform on XMTP. Message anyone on other XMTP-enabled platforms, including Coinbase Wallet and Lens apps, by typing in their wallet address or domain. Similarly, anyone using an XMTP-enabled messaging app can message your Unstoppable domain or wallet address, and it will appear directly in the Unstoppable app. 

Unstoppable Messaging is based on your Web3 domain, like sandy.x, so it’s fully compatible with any wallet address that’s attached to your domain. 

You own the messages you send through Unstoppable Messaging. Because you can access them on any platform that uses XMTP, your messages will be preserved and accessible to you  no matter what happens to Unstoppable. It’s another way we’re giving you ownership over your identity data. 

Unstoppable Messaging is designed with safety and privacy in mind. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and stored on XMTP’s decentralized network, ensuring that only you can access and decrypt them. You also have the power to control who can message you by blocking individual users and managing your notification preferences.

To use Unstoppable Messaging, just set up Reverse Resolution for your Web3 domain in the Manage tab and click the chat bubble to start your first conversation. With messaging available in the Unstoppable iOS app and website (with Android expected next week), chatting on-the-go has never been easier.

Soon, we’ll launch the ability for dApps and businesses to use Unstoppable Messaging to send messages to their communities and foster stronger relationships, powered by Push Protocol.
