Joining forces with Blockchain.com to Collaborate on a Strategy to DNS-enable .Blockchain

This marks blockchain.com as one of the largest Web3 companies to establish such a blueprint, centered around the beloved .blockchain domain.

Our collaboration centers on the “.blockchain” Web3 domain, in which we will submit an application in time for ICANN’s eagerly anticipated registration program. This strategic move is aimed at bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 domains, fostering seamless integration of decentralized and traditional internet infrastructures, and realizing the full potential of web3 domains.

Leading by example, the .blockchain domain would join the ranks of iconic ICANN-registered generic top-level domains (gTLDs) like .com, .net, .org, .biz, and .info.
