.brave: Get Yours, Build One, Website-Building Challenge

Earlier this year, we shared that .brave domains now resolve natively in Brave—both in Brave Wallet and directly in the Brave browser, without the need for extensions or extra setup. It was a milestone moment for the future of onchain websites, with Brave also planning to apply for an official ICANN TLD in 2026.
Now, we’re taking things a step further with the .brave “Get Yours, Build Now website-building challenge. To celebrate, we’re giving away 15,000 BAT and $20,000 USD in .brave domain credits, premium domains like winner.brave, and more to the boldest and most creative websites built on-chain.
This is your chance to unleash your creativity, show off your ideas, and shape what the on-chain Web can look like.
Entry Period: October 15, 12pm ET to November 12, 11:59pm ET
Winners Announced: November 20, 2025 (winners will be announced on the contest page, and on the @brave and @unstoppableweb X channels).
Total Prizes: 15,000 BAT, $20,000 in .brave Domain Credits, Premium Domains & Brave Merch
- 1st Place: 9,000 BAT + $10,000 .brave credits + Winner.brave + Winner Badge
- 2nd Place: 3,750 BAT + $5,000 .brave credits + Winner Badge
- 3rd Place: 2,250 BAT + $3,000 .brave credits + Winner Badge
- 4th Place - 10th Place: Official Brave Merch
In addition to the main prizes, we’re giving away 3 weekly People’s Choice Awards, selected by the community, to recognize standout site builders. Submit your website by the dates below to qualify for that week’s award:
- Award 1: Submit by 11:59pm ET on October 23→ Winner announced 5pm ET on October 28
- Award 2: Submit by 11:59pm ET on October 30 → Winner announced 5pm ET on November 4
- Award 3: Submit by 11:59pm ET on November 6th → Winner announced 5pm ET on November 11th
Each People’s Choice Winner receives:

How People’s Choice Works:
- The Challenge Landing Page updates every Friday with that week’s eligible submissions.
- The community can vote through 11:59pm ET on Mondays.
- Winners are announced on Tuesday’s on the weekly BAT Community Call at 2PM Pacific/5PM Eastern time. Join the call on Brave Talk (same link every week) where you can actively participate and interact with the Brave team. Alternatively, watch the live broadcast on @AttentionToken X.
How to Enter the Website-Building Challenge:
- Register your .brave domain. Get One Here. (Already have one? Skip to step 2)
- Build your website. It could be a personal site, dApp, community hub, or anything in between. Learn How.
- Submit your entry by the contest deadline November 12th (Remember, you have the option to submit your entry sooner to qualify for one of three People’s Choice Awards!)
- Win your share of the Prize Pool: 15,000 BAT, $20,000 in .brave domain credits, premium domains, and more.
The contest will run for a one month period, from October 15th to 11:59pm ET on November 12th, 2025. Once the entry period is over, all submissions will be evaluated based on a number of criteria, including content & media, interactivity & integration, design, and functionality & performance. A full breakdown of the scoring framework can be found on the contest landing page (add hyperlink). Winners will be announced on November 20th.

To keep the contest safe and inclusive, site entries may not contain hate speech, violence, discrimination, illegal content or products, or anything related to tobacco or recreational nicotine. Entries should also avoid sensitive or restricted categories such as age-restricted material, alcohol or recreational drugs, financial services, gambling or lotteries, parenting and infant products, pharmaceuticals or medical services, political campaigning, and pornography or sex work. Any entry featuring these topics will be automatically disqualified.
